Well worth a visit, even if you don’t stay long

点评：This is a very good museum. It doesn’t feel crowded because of the way the exhibits are laid out. There is plenty of space around each exhibit, and the way it’s laid out, you can walk straight through or take your time and look at each exhibit. As you walk through, there are a lot of hallways that bend around so you never see too many people at a time (alleviates stress of being in crowds).
There are a variety of types of exhibits….interactive kiosks, artifacts, well-written descriptions that are not long and complicated, photos, and life-size “dioramas”.
The short (< 30 min) movies are interesting and well-done.
There are many aspects of Lincoln’s life and Presidency depicted.
The museum is such that you could see and experience everything in several hours, but even if you only spend an hour you will still learn a lot, even if you thought you knew most of Lincoln’s story.
There is a large gift shop, a cafe you don’t need admission to visit, and adult admission is only $15. It is a steal! Put this on your must-do list!
