Very disappointing
Doniford Farm Park的点评
点评：Let's start with the positives, very good soft play for young kids, animals looked well looked after and grounds were well maintained.
Sadly this was all let down by the attitude of the staff and customer service. Judging by how some of the signs are written, it seems the whole culture of Doniford Farm is more focused on making money rather giving customers a friendly and fair experience. We went into the cafe for breakfast, firstly there are no children's breakfast menus, but an option to create your own on the menu. However when ordering we were told create your own was unavailable, which seemed odd as all the items on create your own were all on the set breakfasts. So we asked as create your own was unavailable, could we swap items, we were told no but we could buy extra items. So they were happy to sell extra items but you can't create your own. So obviously when you add extra items to a small breakfast, this ends up costing more money. Same with the builders breakfast roll, menu states you can choose your items, but actually its a set builders breakfast roll but you can add items at a cost, again another way to fleece customers out of extra money. The quality of the sausage was poor, it reminded me of a cheaper frozen supermarket sausage which isn't what you expect from a farm cafe. I had missed a fruit shoot off my original order, so went to purchase one using a card, I was told minimum card payment was £2, but the fruit shoot was only £1.50, I was told I could either pay a 50p transaction fee (which is actually illegal) or buy another item so the total was more than £2, this was 2 minutes after just spending nearly £30. Finally our order came and a couple of the extra items were missing, the waiter accused me in an unfriendly tone of not ordering them, which wasn't true, he just hadn't put them through on the till correctly. What happened to the customer being right?! I would not return and would avoid.
