Good rather than very, but free so gets a star bump
Pettigrew Home & Museum的点评
点评:Historic home of an interesting man. You see less inside than you might expect from the exterior: much of this is foyer and a small museum (informative enough, though somewhat random especially upstairs - set expectations accordingly). Skip the film.
This is one of those hosues where they might be better off without a guide, or perhaps one docent stationed on each floor for questions. You will go at his pace, groups impede camera angles, time is limited and stories range all over the place, at times wandering into 120 year old local politics that is just irrelevent - interspered with a fair degree of corny humor if there are kids in the group (who don't appreciate this after about 6). The interior is beautiffly kitted out however with the richness associated with a typical 'man of substance' of the era.
