Adventure Guianas的点评
点评：My husband and I decided on Adventure Guianas after he reviewed websites and information from all the companies approved by the Guyana Ministry of Tourism. Seriously, he reviewed every single one before we decided on Adventure Guianas (!).
For an international trip to a continent we'd never visited, we planned the trip a bit "last minute" (6 weeks out). We also happened to go during the rainy season, because it was the only time that worked for our schedules.
I'm so glad that we chose Adventure Guianas. Because of Navin, Oma, Brandon, and everyone else involved, we had a fantastic time.
Navin was quick to help us get an itinerary together that included all our interests.
When we arrived in Guyana, the weather created a few issues with travel. Despite this, Navin worked to smooth everything out and get us to where we needed to go--even when it involved an additional plane trip from a nearby airfield!
Highlights of our trip definitely included Caiman House and the Rupununi River tour (the people are lovely and the water is the best water I've ever had in my life. Seriously, drink the Caiman House water from the tap. I don't think I'll ever have water that good again.)
Touring Kaieteur Falls was also a must-do experience that Navin made happen for us. I can't even describe it. At one point, I gave up trying to film it because no video could ever convey what it was like to be there.
And even though we were there during the rainy season, Navin spotted two Giant Anteaters while he was driving!! (He pulled off on the side of the road so we could get a better look.)
Navin also took us to a really beautiful spot in the Iwokrama Rainforest Reserve that had a Guianan Cock-of-the-Rock. It was very much an "if you know you know" sort of situation. Without Navin, we if course would have had absolutely no idea where to look.
Speaking of driving, Navin was able to navigate roads that would have gotten 99% of drivers stuck. His driving skills are incredible. I held my breath a few times, but we always made it out! (Again, our choice to travel during the rainy season made difficult roads inevitable.)
If you want to tour Guyana, I highly recommend that you go with Adventure Guianas.

参观凯伊图尔瀑布也是一次不容错过的体验，这一切都多亏了纳文的安排。我甚至无法用言语来形容那种感受。有那么一刻，我放弃了拍摄的念头——因为无论怎样的视频都无法展现身处那里的真实体验。虽然我们是在雨季去的，但纳文在开车时竟然发现了两只大食蚁兽！！（他立刻把车停在路边，好让我们能看得更清楚。）
纳文还带我们去了伊沃克拉马热带雨林保护区里一个风景极美的地方，在那里我们看到了圭亚那火尾雀。这种情况真就是“懂的人自然懂”啊。要是没有纳文，我们肯定完全不知道该往哪儿找。
说到开车……Navin能够驾驭那些足以让99%的司机陷入困境的道路。他的驾驶技术简直惊人。有几次我都屏住了呼吸，但我们最终都顺利脱险了！（不过，我们选择在雨季出行，因此遇到难行的道路也在预料之中。）
