Lamb feeding was a highlight.

点评：I visited the farm with children 15 and 8. I had booked additional experiences for the two of them, including lamb feeding and goat walking. The communication prior to our visit was brilliant. Everything was confirmed via email and advice was given about wearing appropriate clothing for the farm environment, which was helpful.
We arrived on site and reported at reception, where we were given a warm welcome, activity books and a map of the farm, with additional notes given for particulate points of interest. This got the children excited about their visit.
We started with lamb feeding and were greeted by William, who explained everything and introduced the lambs. William was very knowledgeable and patiently answered lots of questions during the experience. He really made it a special experience, whilst maintaining the welfare of the animals. Both children said this experience was the highlight of their visit.
We explored the farm a little, before our second experience; goat walking. The goats were mischievous, which made the experience all the more fun. We had a chance to feed them and find out more about them, too.
Afterwards we were back to seeing the other animals. There were piglets, alpacas, rabbits, cows, goats, hens, ducks and sheep. Then we had lunch in the on site cafe, which was delicious.
I thoroughly recommend Church Farm for a family day out. All of the staff were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful, and you can see their passion for the animals.
