First Timers 12-Day Effortless Adventure in Greece

点评：I have nothing but great things to say about our 12-day trip to Greece which was arranged by Anthony from Antelope Travel. From start to finish everything was flawless, without problems, and exceeded our expectations. The tours, transfers, accommodations, and local meet and greets were excellent.
I was not familiar with Greece and did not want to deal the research of planning a trip. I found Anthony / Antelope Travel on Tripadvisor and placed my trust in his 5-star reviews. I reached out to him, and he professionally assisted with our planning. I provided him with desired dates, activities, accommodations, and travel expectations.
In our case, having never been to Greece we wanted to get a full experience of the must-see places at a 4-5 star accommodation level and full service at every location (private tours, transfers, and meet and greets). He expertly planned the trip and did so within a reasonable budget. Of course we could have saved some money if we booked everything on our own, but I found his prices reasonable for what was offered and in hindsight I am extremely glad we let him handle everything.
Our trip began in Athens and we were met at the airport for a local transfer and meet and greet, and had a private tour the following day. The hotel was excellently situated and out room had an outstanding balcony and view. Next we were taken back to the airport after a couple days and flew to Mykonos for three days. Again we were met at the airport and transferred to a 5 star hotel which was completely romantic and breathtaking. Our room had a balcony with a hot tub looking at the ocean. We had a semi private cooking class during our stay and plenty of time to experience the vibrant island.
From Mykonos we were ferried to Naxos which was the highlight of our trip. Private transfers and tours throughout this stay for three days and such a relaxing place to visit. Complete opposite of Mykonos. The accommodation was 4-star, staff were awesome, and 50 yards from the beach. We were then transferred via ferry again to Santorini for the last four days of our trip. Again excellent accommodations with our room overlooking the ocean with a balcony capturing sunsets every night. Tours were great and the Catamaran Sunset Cruise is a must! We were transferred to the airport and the end, flew to Athens and back to home to California without issue.
I have absolutely no recommendations for Anthony. He was excellent and delivered in a manner that exceeded all expectations. In my opinion the cost of our trip was far less for what was delivered. As a first-time traveler to Greece, we were able to see four completely different and popular parts of Greece. I never felt unsafe and some places (Mykonos) were more expensive than others. The only change I would have made would have been to arrange my own flight home from Santorini (International Airport) instead of two separate tickets (my own booking out of Athens and the booking from Santorini to Athens). If it is one booking going home, you don't have to go through the entire process of rebooking your bags and security. That was a hassle in Athens and took awhile. Also, back light. Every place I stayed we could get laundry done and we brought way to many clothes. Also, prior to the trip I signed up for a Wise prepaid card and was able to transfer US funds into Euros without an exchange fee. We used the card for the majority of purchases saving foreign exchange fees of over 7%.
