A very enjoyable steam train ride

点评：We did the steam train ride with a friend who lives locally. Lucky the weather was a perfect Autumn Day to enjoy the experience.
Bought tickets on the day, train left 11am . And got back 1.30pm.
It was not too busy so we were able to move about the train and try the different types of carriages, all nice and clean and very comfortable.
The train staff are all volunteers who do a fantastic job and are easy to talk , they obviously love their involvement. Well done to all concerned, a great asset to the area as a lot of people like us come here to ride the train, there is just something special about riding the rails powered by steam. You stop a couple of times so you can get off to take photos and at one stop you can see the train being topped up with water.
