I must praise the quality and quantity of these meals, let me explain.
I am a 68 year old newly disabled man originally from Yorkshire but lived in London since 1982, and Wanstead since 1990.
I get my Sunday roasts here to collect by a friend or carer, a great service for anyone with mobility issues!
I can say (without fear because she lives in Teesside) that the Yorkshire’s are almost as good as my dear old mams.
The meat is beautifully cooked, I’ve tried all but the veggie option, and given in good portions, roast potatoes just as a good cook would make at home and a variety of again well cooked vegetables. Gravy to die for! Occasional treats like cauliflower cheese or a surprise portion of pudding!
It’s like we make a roast at home with garlic and herbs in the roast veg, beautiful .
I could give more details but won’t in case it becomes so popular I can’t get one!
