Devil's Rope and Route 66 Museum的点评
点评：I wasn't sure how entertained I'd be by the Devil's Rope Museum, but it turned out to be a very worthwhile stop on our Route 66 journey. The museum is free and features exhibits on Route 66, barbed wire, and also a few collections of items. The barbed wire portion is the largest chunk of the museum. There are only so many barbed wire facts I can absorb, so that part took me maybe 15-20 minutes to breeze through. There are some fun visual gags and barbed wire art that provide some levity to the collection. The Route 66 section is pretty well done and features some bits about local 66 in Texas. The Museum has a fairly sizable gift shop with both generic 66 merch and Museum merch. When you're done, you get to pick a small piece of barbed wire to take home. There was some question as to whether this piece of barbed wire could go in a carry on bag. Turns out it can for domestic flights, so don't be afraid to grab this unique souvenir. I recommend this as a stop for any 66 traveler. Even if you're not too excited about barbed wire facts, you'll still be entertained.
