Magical, and if you don't feel 'Christmassy' this will fix it.
The Polar Express Train Ride的点评
点评：Having never been before we didn't really know what to to expect. On arrival you can see how well organised it is. All the staff were super friendly and enthusiastic like it was their first time doing it (not the 100th!) you really didn't feel part of it all. People mostly wear pajamas, adults and children. The train gets quite warm so no need to worry about being cold, we didn't wait long on the platform (as I said it was really well organised) there's a big tent with carol singers near the platform so if it's raining you would be fine.
Hot chocolate and cookies on the train which were delicious (they do a quick check beforehand if there are any allergies etc)
Don't take big bags as there's nowhere to keep them, apart from under your table. Isles must be kept clear and you must stay in your seats. So use the toilets before you get on the train. Seats are in 4's, 2 opposite 2, with a table between you, not sure if there were three people if you might have someone randomly sat with you?
I won't say much more about the experience as I think the suprise element is what makes it.
A few days beforehand we watched the movie with my youngest daughter (who hadn't seen it) and she wasn't enamoured with it all, however she definitely loved the experience, she didn't stop smiling. It is really magical, even the reluctant teenagers enjoyed it, in some places they laughed so hard they had tears. I would definitely recommend going, whether you love the film or not you will love the experience.
