Great location. But, hotel is showing its age.
Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark的点评
点评：The best thing about this hotel is its location. Being right on the river was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the Riverwalk. The bed was comfortable, and having a sofa in the room was a nice bonus.
Unfortunately, the hotel is showing its age. The carpet was worn, the wallpaper was peeling in places, and the room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. When I moved the nightstand to plug something in, I found a large dried white spill on the carpet that had clearly been missed during cleaning. I showed it to the front desk.
I had requested a top-floor room when I made the reservation, but that request apparently wasn’t noted.
The amenities were also disappointing. The hot tub jets only worked on one side, the water park was smaller than expected and didn’t seem very clean, and the breakfast didn’t match what was advertised. It was also inconvenient that there were no easily accessible USB charging ports in the room.
I do appreciate that the staff responded to our concerns by offering a 15% discount, which was a nice gesture.
Overall, the location is excellent, but the hotel needs updates, better housekeeping, and more attention to maintenance. It has potential, but for the price, I expected a better overall experience.
