We came back for another wonderful tour with ZigZag NZ

点评：Last year we did an absolutely fabulous 30-day tour with ZigZag, and we loved it so much that we came back this spring to join the last part of their South Island tour. And it was equally wonderful!
I joked that the 17 days with them this year was the vacation part of our trip (before we joined them we did some hiking, biking, and canoeing trips on our own based on the great information they gave us last year). But it was true: once we joined the tour, we felt completely taken care of--no need to book places to stay or eat or drive the winding roads. And once again, we were taken to beautiful off-the-beat places we would not have known about (Golden Valley and Collingwood being a particular highlight for me) and brought to the lovely places we did want to see (Abel Tasman and Queen Charlotte for example).
As before, Grant and Jemma's kindness and generosity made the trip—they were always there to help set up tents, to listen, to suggest activities, to aid us in any way. They created a group atmosphere that included everyone and was warm and accepting and fun of laughs. They are both just a delight!
We are already planning to go back to New Zealand next year and hope there is space in the van for us to join them again!
