点评：A highlight of a weeklong road trip. We pulled over at just a couple of spots, but they were more than enough to make this drive an experience to remember. The Founders Tree trail really packs a lot of the forest into just a short distance. If you are short on time but want to be amazed, it makes for a great stop. No picture can truly capture the awesomeness of these trees, but you still want to take lots of pictures. What's amazing is that it's a public road you can drive down for free. We had to pause once or twice on trails for people heading the opposite direction, but the trails were pretty wide open. We passed a group being led by a guide, but it isn't required. The more popular spots had some signage to tell you about that area and map the trails. If you don't love it, you might be dead inside.
