Looked forward to it, but left frustrated and disappointed

点评：I need to divide the review into course and experience as the 3/5 is a composite of both
1. It is a reasonably priced nice course. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in excellent shape. It plays very well. Layout is interesting and facilities in general great. The pro shop seemed nice and planned to visit after my round but then didn’t (see number two). Design a bit odd with back to back par 5s ant the end of the front 9. Only course complaint was the cart experience. The cart functioned ok but GPS was unhelpful and annoying. The screen is out behind the cup holders aomif you have a drink you can’t see it so not real helpful. Worse, it has one of those cart micromanaging features where if you drive somewhere you shouldn’t (like in the middle of the fairway 75 yards in front of the green) it will shut the cart down and tell you of being in a forbidden area. If the boundaries made sense it would be one thing, but often they didn’t., and there was no way to know you were there until it shut down the cart. I hate this annoying control freak tactics 4/5 for the course overall
2. The experience was awful. Played midafternoon on a Tuesday. Course a combinations of doubles, triples and a few foursomes. Pace was awful. No player assistant. No one watching. I was in a twosome. At 4 hours we had played 14 holes and there was no indication of Improvement coming. Finally left in frustration. I can see a five hour round when it is all foursomes, but wasn’t the number of players but the languid manner they played. The twosome in front of use were sharing clubs. A small effort by the course could have made a difference 1/5 for experience
