So much fun- even for ‘big kids!’
Omaha Children's Museum的点评
点评：I visited from Arkansas with my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter. We all had a blast! We stayed for over 5 hours and could have easily stayed longer. We went on a weekday and the crowd was very minimal so we were able to do all of the activities as many times as my kids wanted. Don’t skip out on the ‘shows’ and activities. It was a little difficult to hear the announcements over the intercom but we saw the ‘Mother Goose Science Show’ which was so fun! My kids also created leprechaun traps in the STEM room and got free little leprechauns to take home plus they got to keep the traps they made! We also made paper bag puppets, and hand print fish at the crafting tables. We ate lunch at the museum on the second floor- kid type food but it was pretty good! My son loved the pizza and my daughter had chicken nuggets. The entire facility was very clean and I saw employees throughout the day cleaning. Everyone was so friendly!
The family bathroom was a major bonus!
There is a penny machine too (my kids and I collect them)! The gift shop had reasonably priced magnets which make a great souvenir.
My kids loved when the big basket on the ceiling of the ‘ball room’ would drop out balls which happened about every 5 minutes.
The carousel was a big hit too! Unfortunately the train wasn’t working when we were there.
If you stop by the Omaha Visitor’s Center or sign up online, there is a coupon for a discount for your tickets which I wish I would have known ahead of time but now you know.
I could go on and on- I have too many nice things to say. We had an incredible time!
