点评:We are annual pass holders and regularly visit the park with my sister and her twin toddlers. Unfortunately, we’ve found that the current queue policy isn’t very family-friendly for parents of twins or multiple young children.
Many of the rides require a young child to be accompanied by an adult. Between the two of us, we have six children aged between five and nineteen months. While my sister takes the older children on rides, I stay with the babies.
On our recent visit, both twins were in the queue together with my sister. When it was time to ride, only one twin was permitted to go, so my sister handed the other twin to me to look after while she accompanied the first child. When the ride finished, she simply wanted to swap the twins over, as both children had originally queued together. However, she was told she would have to join the back of the queue again, meaning another 25-minute wait.
We spoke to a member of staff, who explained that allowing the swap would be considered queue jumping. However, this puts families like ours in an impossible position. We cannot take pushchairs into the queue, so I cannot wait in line with the second twin. Equally, a 19-month-old cannot be left standing in the queue alone while I wait outside with the babies.
We completely understand the need for fair queue management, but in this situation no one was attempting to skip the queue. Both twins had already waited their turn and simply needed to swap places so each child could enjoy the ride.
We would really appreciate the park considering a more practical solution for families with twins or multiple very young children, as the current policy unintentionally disadvantages them compared with families who have only one child of riding age.
I would also like to raise a concern about the annual pass holder queue during the school holidays. On several occasions, it has appeared to move significantly more slowly than the standard entry queue. As annual pass holders who visit regularly and have invested in supporting the park, it is disappointing to feel as though we are at a disadvantage during the busiest periods. We appreciate that demand is higher during school holidays, but it would be reassuring to understand how the queues are managed and whether the annual pass queue could be reviewed to ensure it operates as efficiently as the other entrance queues.
The food is good value and lots to do but the management needs to look at making the park a bit more twin/multiple friendly.
