点评：We visited Santorini in Mid October, having looked out over the Caldera from Fira we saw the beautiful island of Thirasia, after a small bit of research in our guide book we read that there was a ferry that went to the island. We caught the bus to Oia and walked down the 300+ steps to Ammoudi bay (walk towards the old castle in Oia and follow the steps down). once in Ammoudi bay there is a concrete jetty on the far side, this is where the ferry departs (0800 and 1230), we only saw one small sign by the jetty, however as with most greek residents, they are always friendly and helpful and certainly pointed us in the right direction. One thing to mention are the toilets at Ammoudi bay, they are spotless! (1€ charge). We boarded the 1230 ferry and crossed to Thirasia, the ferry stops at 2 locations, the ferry costs 1€ each (bargain), we got off at Agia, the first stop, there is a free bus that takes you up to the town, you can stay on the ferry and go to the small harbour and climb the steps to the town but it’s easier to walk down 😁. There isn’t much to do but it is so peaceful and tranquil, we stopped at a couple of restaurants and sampled the gyros and beer, both very good!
We walked down the steps to the small harbour and relaxed whilst people watching. I guess in the height of the season it may be busier.

The trip is well worth it!

我们走下台阶，来到小港口，一边放松一边观察人们。我想在旺季可能会更忙。

这次旅行非常值得！
