点评：Me and my partner recently spent two nights at the Kanuka glamping site. It was truly an amazing and magical experience. If you are looking for an off-grid experience with total privacy then this is perfect. Having your own beach front with beautiful lake access was incredible. Hearing the birds and waves from the tent was also incredible, as was having a secret hike pathway to access a free and geothermal hot water next to a secluded lake (me and my partner spent an hour here without anyone else in sight). The price for what we experiences was beyond worth it and was a complete bargain
The facilities themselves were well above our expectation. They were incredibly clean. The Māori values of hospitality, kindness, generosity, and support (Manaakitanga) were truly felt and experienced
So many little additions helped me the stay even more memorable, such as Karen's incredible hampers with instructions on how to best cook them, the fern left on our pillow, the Māori carvings, adding a bottle of sparkling wine at very late request to our hamper. We cant overstate how much David, the host who took us over on the boat added to our experience. While we only spent about an hour in total with him. He made us feel so welcome at Kanuka and in New Zealand more generally. Learning more about the Māori culture from him was great. His warm and welcoming personality left a lasting mark on both me and my partner
