Good and not so good.
Argyle Winery的点评
点评：Argyle is conveniently located to the Dundee Hotel, where we were staying, and because we didn't want to imbibe and drive, we decided to walk over to the Winery. The 5 minute stroll in the August heat made us appreciate the cool tasting room! We were greeted with a taste of one of their sparkling wines as soon as we walked in and were seated in a couple of comfy chairs with a view of the quite large room. This facility has a large indoor area with lots of tables, and an ample outdoor area to enjoy their wines. We were not interested in a formal tasting experience, but just a couple of glasses of their wines. The chardonnay that I ordered was quite tasty, and reasonably priced at $10. My husband ordered the sparkling wine ($17) that was recommended by our server. Unfortunately, they had not checked out the wine before they served it and when it arrived at our table, we discovered that they served us a bad bottle, one that was either corked or had gotten hot. It had that typical taste and nose. When my husband made our server aware, he was brought a glass of another sparkling wine that was much better, but at that point, awkwardness had occurred and we just finished quickly and left.
