点评:I visited this park on a few occasions in the past two months. It was a heaven of a getaway from Québec city especially in the winter.
There is an indoor visitor center with benches, fireplace, ski/snowshoe rental, washrooms, tour and trail desk, and a shop with souvenirs, coffee, tea, snacks, clothes. We drove to the visitor center first ~ there is a huge parking lot there for easy parking.
From there on we went on a few hikes around the few trails and absolutely loved the snow covered trails. It was so nice to walk around and just breathe. Bring your snacks and water as hiking on snow is not as easy if this is something you aren’t used to. But the views are spectacular.
Recommendations: for the store to bring in some pastries/sandwiches if possible instead of just sweet snacks and sausage sticks. We read that there is s cafe and came with no food. We were surprised there wasn’t much to buy to eat.
Also, there were only like two benches that we saw so if you are elderly or have mobility problems there won’t be anywhere to sit on any of the nearby trails leading out from the Visitor center. There are some right in front if it and a few steps down by the river but haven’t seen any others.
