A delightful visit in a beautiful setting, with added drama provided by the cattle.

点评：We've been meaning to visit for years and I'm so glad we finally managed it. Living only about 7 miles away, I'm surprised we didn't visit sooner.
The park setting is idyllic, even by Northumberland's high standards, the staff are both helpful and informative, without making you feel like you're attending a lecture, and the cattle, well just WOW!
It was a very warm day, so they were staying largely in the shade, but our guide placed us in the perfect position to observe their behaviour and tell us all about them.
We witnessed a small drama as one of them upended another and the two of them proceeded to "shout" at each other from a distance - typical teenage male posturing.
All in all a delightful experience, one we will repeat by taking visitors whenever we can.
