We booked our 2026 stay in person at the front desk. While the staff was efficient, they failed to verbally disclose the extremely strict cancellation penalty at the time of booking.
The main reason we considered canceling was due to a very negative experience my 5-year-old daughter had on her second day at the ski school. She was so distressed that we had to promise her we wouldn't return to Angel Fire next year. Although my sons had a productive 4-day ski school session. The resort representative showed zero interest in the reason for our cancellation. She only emphasized the "no refund" policy.
We are only proceeding with the reservation to avoid the financial penalty. For a resort that markets itself as family-friendly, the lack of care for a loyal family is disappointing
