Nothing like the itinerary
Izi Peru Travel - Lima的点评
点评：Booked a 2-day tour to the Amazon with Iziperu. Got no information in advance about anything, so we expected the tour that was described on their homepage Where we booked it.
However when we arrived, the tour was completely different. When we asked our guide Richard about the missing things from the itinerary, he said that they were never part of the tour and asked us to complain to Iziperu.
3 groups on our tour booked from Iziperu and all of us were very upset.
Our guide then offered us to do one of the many activities from the Iziperu itinerary that was supposed to be included (Monkey Island) for an extra cost of 250 soles per person.
We paid this, to get the experience that iziperu promised us.
As we were on this tour, we wrote to Iziperu on Whatsapp and tried to get a refund of the 250 soles per person.
They told us a million excuses, but agreed to look into our case.
One week later we still had no reply.
They then asked us to e-mail their “admins”
From this we got more excuses saying that they gave us a new itinerary days before the tour (Not true, they never gave any additional information). They also accused us of booking from a “third-party” and doing this tour when it was not safe.
The truth is that we booked this tour from THEIR guide Richard, who said it was completely safe.
Overall this might be the worst company i ever booked a tour from. They will give you something completely different from what you booked and then try to blame you for everything.
We tried to write back to them to reach a solution, but they just ignore the e-mail we sent days ago.
Do NOT book here!
Things from the Iziperu itinerary, that were NOT included in the tour:
“Swimming in the Amazon”
“Amazon Sunset”
“Piranha fishing”
“Monkey Island” which we paid Richard 500 Soles to do with us.
