点评:We had a wonderful day at the beach club only for the day to be soured by the rude girl on the entrance desk. When leaving past the entrance desk we were asked by the desk attendee in abrupt tone where our towels were, no excuse me or pleasant chit chat as she spoke with us. I explained that we had left them pool side. She then ordered me to go and get them
"GO AND GET THEM!! I TOLD YOU TO RETURN THEM WHEN YOU ARRIVED!"..........
I said to her that she should have adoped a more friendly and respectful approach, and pointed out to her she was being rude. She then doubled down with her attitude.
I said to her that firstly we weren't asked to return the towels when we arrived. At most beach clubs its common practice for towels to be left around the pool. Regardless i would have no issue returning the towels had she asked originally or in a non rude manner. Secondly I didn't expect to be spoken to in such a rude manner. There was also no consideration that I was carrying a pram down the stairs and my hands were full. She then argued with me for a few minutes before I decided there was no reasoning with this person despite her colleague coming over to me and saying to me he understood what I was saying.
I wouldn't mind but this individual was clearly irritated that she had to look up from her mobile phone that was glued to her hand and wanted to take her bad day out on a customer. I don't think I would have been spoken to in this way if I were Portugese! My recommendation to the management is this person would be better placed to work "back of house" and not customer facing.
A wonderful day ruined by the front desk staff member.
