Marksburg的点评
点评：I hate to be the lone dissenter, but we weren't overly impressed with Marksburg Castle. The tour was fine. We didn't want to wait for an English one, so just took the German one and used Google translate which worked wonderfully. The tour was good and it was fun to see what a castle would be like during that time period. We especially liked seeing the kitchen and the outhouse with the story that went along with it. The room with the knights in their different armor was interesting too. But, was it worth driving there from where we were staying and taking the time out of our day to go? Ehhh. However, maybe were spoiled by the amazing tours we had already been on of the castles in the Bavarian region?
If you are going to be in Marksburg anyway, I would certainly say go. But I wouldn't make a special trip out of my way to do it. Seeing the outside from a river tour (along with the exteriors of the many castles on that part of the Rhine is probably what I would have rather done).
