One of the BEST activities in Lapland!

点评：Mikko and Xiaoyun were a highlight of our trip to Lapland! First…they were amazing to work with. I reached out over WhatsApp in advance…and they came to our resort and set up a presentation in our cabin on the night we arrived. The detail and level of expertise went far beyond astronomy to include local culture and history. This set up our trip perfectly because we had a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the region. They also gave great advice about how to optimize our astro-photography.
Sadly, the weather did not cooperate most of the time we were in Lapland…we had intense cloud cover almost the entire time. But Mikko knew which weather sites could tell us when there might be a bit of a break in the clouds. Miraculously, there were a few clear hours that coincided with high aurora activity and we got some remarkable pics! But even if the weather would not have cleared…it still would’ve been a trip of a lifetime. Mikko and Xiaoyun were a big part of that. Schedule a lesson with them if you are in Lapland!!!
