Disappointing access

点评：Beautiful gardens.. and incredibly friendly and helpful staff…
However…
If you are disabled .. you are only allowed access to one path, red rose signs, and back again, with half the signage either miles apart ( so you get lost or end up narrowly avoiding steps/gorges trying to find the next sign) or under foliage so you miss it completely. If you are ambulatory then you may be able to access the blue hydrangea path, which has very steep inclines and zaps batteries very quickly.. however again signs are a bit hit and miss.. we ended up steering many elderly bemused and lost people around to find their way whilst I was on my scooter and equally lost from the red rose trail.. and if you need the loo.. go at the one in the car park, or you will have to hold it all the way round to the cafe ( the disabled one is extremely tight to get to if you are on a scooter or in a chair) there is one in ‘the Dell’ but that’s only for people who can clamber like goats .. quite sad that I was restricted to going back and forth on one paths worth. It’s time this place was made far more disabled friendly not just for those of us who can’t walk around, but for those who can but struggle a little. Big shout out to the lovely Angie who was so incredibly supportive of us. Thank you
