点评：I spent a fun day doing a tour of Bender/Tiraspol with Dmitry and it became the highlight of my whole trip. We started at the markets hunting for Soviet memorabilia, then headed to Bender Fortress where he gave me the full story-time experience. After that, straight to THE stolovka for lunch and a few pictures with more soviet stuff.
To help with digestion, he took me for cognac shots in a sad little place which I loved, and then we tried to get into an abandoned building overlooking a babushka council meeting, with stray dogs as witnesses. We wrapped up at a wonderfully questionable supermarket where all the local weird characters hang out. I couldn’t ask for anything better 😂
Dmitry is a super knowledgeable and fun guide, and on top of that he’s a really good photographer! Definitely recommended 🌟
