Lindt Chocolate Shop的点评
点评：Shopping at the Kittery Premium Outlets, I intended to make Lindt Chocolate Shop my first stop; however, when I tried to go in, I found the door locked. A note on the other door read; Back in a few minutes. So, I went next door to American Eagle Outfitters Outlet first. And, when I returned to Lindt, it had re-opened.
The gal running the store was offering truffles from a serving tray. The choices were white chocolate or milk chocolate. I tried a milk chocolate. Not bad, but I prefer dark chocolate.
In the back, I came upon Halloween chocolate at 50% off. One item was in a box in the form of a very mean-looking Count Dracula. The box contained truffles. Another item was bagged Halloween-themed truffles.
In another area, one box of assorted chocolates had a Christmas scene of Santa and his elves at work making toys in his workshop.
I was surprised to see packages of the Italian holiday cake Panettone. The box was labeled Lindt Patisserie. I gathered that baked goods were a new line of products for Lindt.
As I was getting ready to leave, two guards from Loomis came in and went directly to the back room where the gal running the store was.
Other than the prices on markdowns, I found that supermarket prices on the bagged Lindt truffles were lower than at the outlet; however, it's still a nice experience to shop directly at Lindt.
I rate shopping here this time at 4.0.
