点评：I really enjoyed Creation Theatre's production of Jekyll & Hyde. The setting and set were incredible. Staged within a fantastic warehouse space (home of the OVADA Gallery) the venue itself became part of the experience. The industrial surroundings created an eerie atmosphere from the moment we arrived and immediately put me and my friend on edge in all the right ways.
The costumes were excellent, and the production made brilliant use of the space throughout. There was a real sense of tension and unease that perfectly suited the story. A special mention has to go to Alex Ansell, who was a joy to watch. He made playing numerous roles look effortless. His delivery was superb, and his ability to switch seamlessly between characters was incredibly impressive. It would have been easy for those transitions to feel confusing, but he handled them with confidence, skill and real charisma.
Overall, this was another excellent production from Creation Theatre, a truly brilliant theatre company and one of Oxford's cultural gems. Creative, immersive and hugely entertaining.
