点评：wow! where do we begin! an absolute dream come true to see the pyramids.
our own private tour with an english speaking egyptologist ahmed whose knowledge was fantastic and an absolutely wonderful easy person to get on with.
farez picked us up outside our hotel and took us to the airport, we got on the plane and was met the other end by our guide.
we did the pyramids and sphinx even went inside one of the pyramids.
then we had lunch, and we went to pyramid valley that overlooked the pyramids to get a drink. (be mindful alcohol is not served in the places we visited cairo) but thats fine embrace the culture.
then we went to the new egyptian museum which was absolutely huge. tutankhamun golden mask was an absolute magical highlight. priceless.
to finish the day we sailed the river nile on a private boat just as the sun was setting, ready for our flight home.
everything was organised to pefection.
