点评:Rough day! I drove with my grandsons from out of town. Arrived and it took one hour and forty five minutes to park. We ended up having to park at a near by ER. Then walked for 15 minutes to get to the gate. We were greeted by a young lady who asked if we were looking for tickets. Yes ,I replied. She advised that it was free day but that the park was full and we couldn’t come in. Then advised that we could buy a season pass for I think $198 and come in . So I commented you’re not full then if I can pay a large amount and enter. So we rode the small train to the museum. Can’t take the stroller on the train. I have a bad back from an accident. So now I have to carry my grandson who is 1. By the time we get to the museum I’m struggling with him. We do a short trek into the butterfly exhibit and my back is now killing me we walk inside and I let him down to get some relief. He is wearing shorts a t shirt and thick socks. I was rudely approached by an employee demanding I pick him up because he couldn’t be on the carpeted floor without shoes. I explained he doesn’t have shoes and if he did he would have already kicked them off and lost them and that I’m handicap due to a car crash. That I believe federal law says they are to make accommodations.we went to the museum and within 15 more minutes my back couldn’t take it we had to leave. So we wait 30 minutes at the train pickup but it never comes. So now we have to walk to the depot where the stroller was left. I can barely walk at this point. We find the train parked with a closed sign. He said did you not hear the thunder. I advised yes it thundered twice , no rain and no lighting. After a quarter mile trek back to my vehicle. I don’t know that I will ever go back to the Herman park area. The public relations are horrible.
