Water Street Marketplace的点评
点评：Water Street Marketplace is one of the many locally-owned shops in downtown Exeter. It stocks retro and vintage items from over 40 dealers.
During my visit, I saw all kinds of items from furniture, home décor, and tableware to collectibles, jewelry, vinyl record albums, and posters advertising concerts from many decades ago.
The shop was arranged with many booths organized with three walls, thus creating many alcoves which made it perfect for meandering.
I saw an interesting collection of goods. One can easily spend an hour looking at everything.
In one area, I came upon a “Star Wars” Yoda collectible.
In another area, I found vinyl records albums. One was “I Capricorn” by Shirley Bassey, who became famous for singing the theme songs for the James Bond spy thriller movies “Goldfinger” and “Diamonds Are Forever.”
A display of drinkware contained different sizes of entertaining/barware glasses in cobalt glass.
One vintage poster was from the July 5, 1968 concert at The Hollywood Bowl starring The Doors with Steppenwolf and The Chambers Brothers. Tickets were only $4.00. Those were the days for affordable concert ticket prices!
I enjoyed shopping here and rate my experience with Water Street Marketplace at 4.50 and can recommend stopping in here.
