点评:The attractions at Duinrell are top-notch. There is a great deal of variety and generally everything is in good shape. The house we stayed at was also very nice, especially for the price. However, every interaction we had with an employee, and everything about the park that relies on human intervention, was utterly terrible.
It started with the 40 minute wait in reception to check in. For an off-season visit, this was utterly bizarre. Then we are forced to pay 4euro for a photo for our required ID, which was not looked at by a single person throughout our entire stay - not even when we entered the waterpark. Money grab scam.
The restaurants closed at 6pm, because why would we want to have dinner? They didn’t open until 11, because why would we want to have breakfast or coffee before that? The one made-to-order meal we had at 4pm took 30 minutes because the employee was incapable of doing more than one thing at once (we were literally the only people ordering at the time). There’s a restriction on how long you can spend in the waterpark (without paying more). The cherry on top was walking through the park at 10am, after seeing a sign that stated the walkway was open at 9:30, only to find ourselves locked in when we got to the other side.
The park is digging itself a hole. I don’t know if it’s always been this bad, but the nickel-and-diming and terrible service is sure to catch up to Duinrell at some point.
