点评:We visited with a disabled guest. There is no provision for accessible parking at the entrance to the Museum/Factory as we were bluntly informed by the gate staff despite numerous empty spaces being available in the visitor section. We had to drop of family members at the gate and then park the car down the street about 5 minutes walk away.
The museum is located on the first floor, we asked if there was lift available when you arrived in the Shop, the response was kind of, well there is but its inconvenient to take you there was the impression we were left with. We ended making our way very slowly and somewhat precariously via the stairs. A lift should be provided to make this attraction much more accessible.
The museum if very informative with some lovely examples of road and race bikes available to view and the stories that go with them, i would suggest an hour is sufficient time to view the Museum.
We also opted for the Factory tour which was conducted by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic team member who explained each stop on the tour. You get a good understanding of the assembly process and we saw lots various models being assembled or tested. The racing department is off-limits which is understandable, although i imagine there could be some elements of it which could be integrated into a tour.
The Museum and Factory tour are worthwhile, the provision for impaired visitors is very lacking and should be improved.
