点评:I visited SeaCity Museum with my 21‑year‑old daughter and my 15‑year‑old son, and we genuinely had a lovely time. A lot of people say the museum “isn’t really about the Titanic, it’s more about the crew,” but honestly, I found that part absolutely fascinating. It’s presented in a way that’s engaging, human, and surprisingly not too sad, even though the story itself is emotional. The Lives of Southampton section at the back is also well worth seeing. It adds a nice balance and gives you a real feel for the city’s history and the people who shaped it. Air conditioning 😁
One quick note to help others avoid a little hiccup we ran into: I put our bags in the locker because they were a bit heavy to carry around. We just wanted to quickly pop over to Primark and come back before closing. Unfortunately, there was no signage or information to let us know that you can’t leave the building once your bags are stored. It was a bit embarrassing when we returned and encountered a rather strict staff member who didn't serve us earlier. It didn’t ruin our visit, but it did take a bit of the shine off.
Overall, though, the museum itself is worth visiting, I paid £38.50 plus £6 to leave two large bags and we can come back all year, which we will do.
