Tartu University Botanical Garden的点评
点评：What an unexpected pleasure. This is one of the best city-based botanic gardens we've seen, certainly the best organized. DH marveled over the literally thousands of labels, all legible, correctly placed, and the thousands of specimens, all healthy and thriving (he's a plant guy). There's so much more to it than you think at the beginning, and it's fascinating the way it incorporates really old structures like the city wall and bastion. We thought an hour would be enough but it was not! The lilacs were in bloom, so many, and so many colors, too. Rhododendrons and Azaleas were at various stages. There's an enormous rock garden inside the bastion walls - open to the sky - where you could just sit and enjoy the amazing variety. There's also an indoor building that we didn't visit. You can wander around outside for free, or use their online pay-what-you-wish system.
