We very much enjoyed our Lock and Dam Tour on the Tom Sawyer. Our 5 hour tour sailed north through the lock and dam past the confluence of the Missouri River. We had a very informative historical narration of our trip and the sound system was very good throughout the boat so nothing was missed. We were offered large, yummy cinammon rolls at the beginning of our sail and later enjoyed an excellent meal of salad, beef, chicken cordon Bleu, rice, green beans, rolls, cake and fruit. The two piece bluesy jazz band provided very nice background music. After lunch a fun game of trivia was offered and table games were later made available for those that wanted them. We personally wanted to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the perfect weather and views but could hear the trivia questions from the deck below and had fun answering the questions with my husband. I feel this trip was a super deal for $59 per person for this 5 hour voyage and highly recommend. Kudos to the Tia and Bree and the rest of the staff for the great service. Memories were made.
