Puzzle Park SA的点评
点评：Plett Puzzle Park shares a large car park with a few other attractions, including an animal rescue centre with big cats and a farmyard-style petting zoo. We opted specifically for the Puzzle Park experience.
As with many attractions in Plettenberg Bay, the pricing is on the higher side, and there’s no South African resident reduction. When you’re holidaying locally and trying to enjoy multiple activities in the area, the cumulative cost does make Plett a particularly expensive destination for domestic tourists.
That said, the Puzzle Park itself is genuinely unique. It’s divided into two sections: a large three-dimensional maze and a forest puzzle walk. We chose the puzzle walk, and it turned out to be a highly entertaining and surprisingly competitive hour.
The walk itself is a simple loop through fairly average forest — you won’t find dramatic scenery here — but that’s not the point. The magic is in the puzzles. You’re given nine discs for nine different puzzle stations along the route. Insert your disc, the puzzle activates, and the five-minute countdown begins. The challenges are moderately tricky — just enough to get the brain working — and the pressure ramps up quickly as the clock ticks down.
There’s plenty of laughter (and mild panic!) as the timer approaches zero. Complete the puzzle successfully and it resets, returning your disc. Present all nine discs at the end and you’ve achieved a 100% success rate. We were told we did better than most — though I suspect that might be part encouragement, part diplomacy!
It strikes me as an excellent team-building activity and is certainly best enjoyed as a family or group. It’s interactive, different, and not something we’ve experienced elsewhere.
There’s also a lovely café and play area where kids can relax before or after the experience.
All in all, a refreshingly different and highly enjoyable way to spend an hour in Plett. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary.
