点评：I did this hike late in September. Based on reviews I read, I wasn't sure what to expect for the weather and whether the flowers would still be in bloom. The weather was perfect and there was still plenty of color all around. I chose to do this counterclockwise. It was definitely challenging. Would not recommend it for young children. Also, it was very crowded on a sunday. I got to the park at eight fifteen and had to wait an hour just to get through the gate. When I got to the parking area, the upper and lower lots were both full. So I had to go to the third lot, which is a picnic area below the lower lot. That added an uphill half mile hike, just to get to the visitor center. I started just before nine, and it took around five hours total. I stopped frequently on the uphill part, but almost not at all coming down. There are beautiful views at every turn and a variety of different scenery, depending on where you are.
