Canberra Glassworks的点评
点评：The Canberra Glassworks are located on Wentworth Ave, Kingston, in the historical former Kingston power station. Its open (free entry with optional donation) Wednesday to Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm.
It is a fully functional glasswork studio run in conjunction with the ANU School of Art. The glassworks have a small overhead gallery overlooking the main hotshop area, where you can sit down and watch the artists at work, as well as public access walkways around all the glass working areas. They also run glass making classes/workshops but you need to book in advance if you want to get in.
They have small shop full of beautiful glassware and a galley where they hold various exhibitions of artist's works.
You are more likely to catch one of the artists in residences working in the hotshop during the week, as on the weekends it tends to be just visitors doing individual hands-on experience classes. A nice place to spend an hour or so - recommend tying your visit in with a trip to the Sunday markets next door.
