Disappointing afternoon tea

点评：Didn’t stay but visited recently with my friends for a girly day out to have afternoon tea. We had all been really looking forward to it, with the opportunity to get dressed up a little and explore the grounds as well as having the afternoon tea.
We arrived and were quickly seated, and then someone came to take our drink order - to which we all said tea, naturally.
10 minutes or so later someone came back to ask for our food order to which we said, we’re booked for afternoon tea as we said? Turns out they didn’t have us down for afternoon tea despite making the booking as such.
It took some time for the tea to come and then slightly longer for the food.
We struggled to get good service the whole time; we had to ask multiple times for the same thing as the staff would just disappear for long periods and then seemed to forget what we’d asked for.
The food itself was fine but nothing mind blowing, atmosphere none existent (no music, nothing). Just a disappointing experience.
