Its a rainforest itself. Very affortable, around 80Rm per night. If you want to trek to Lucia or Magdalena mountain you have to be in a good shape. There are too many leeches. Propose to wear a tight and high thick socks or leech socks. Get a waterproof cover for the backpack.
Notice that its very difficult to see the hornbills (its not like near you, but on very very tall trees).
The monkeys execpt red leaf and makakas are also difficult to see.
The 1Stop Borneo group is more experienced for wild life watching tha the guides of the park itself, but even with them its not sure that you will be lucky.
Most of the animals can be seen within the area of the "buildings".
With grab you can get there with 25RM and around 35 minutes from Tawau town.
