Early-stage distillery – no mature whisky available yet

点评：I visited Komoro Distillery as part of a planned whisky-focused trip to Japan, including a dedicated day trip and several nights in the surrounding region.
On arrival, it became clear that the distillery only began production in 2023 and has not yet produced any mature whisky available for tasting or release. The tour mainly covered early-stage production processes and new make spirit, with whisky still in the maturation stage.
While the facilities are modern and the staff were polite and informative, I found the overall experience disappointing due to the lack of finished whisky. This was not clearly communicated in advance, and for international visitors planning specific whisky experiences, this is important to understand before booking.
It would be helpful if the distillery made its production timeline clearer to avoid misunderstandings for future visitors.
