An incredible transformative journey!
Mystic Himalayan Trails的点评
点评：We just returned from an incredible 2 week trip to the Himalayas through the Zanskar region and Ladakh! We were guided by the incredible Rahul Ogra of Mystic Himalayan Trails, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide to the region.
Rahul was knowledgeble in every area of trip - regarding the geography, landscape, flora, fauna, funga and the history of the place both political and spiritual. He introduced us to the local customs and traditions and made us feel at home with our hosts. A bonus to me personally, he focused on responsible sustainable travel, a leave no trace philosophy and a wonderful respect for not just the place but the planet as well.
Our trip started through the Zanskar region, where we saw incredible mountain scenery through snow capped passes, and stayed at humble homestays along the way. The hosts incredible warmth and hospitality made up for the cold nights!
As we reached Lamayuru and Leh, the landscape changed completely to a high altitude desert with rolling sandy hills. We visited some beautiful monasteries and Rahul gave us an in-depth explanation of the history and spirituality of these places. Each monastery felt completely different and beautiful in its own way. The Lamas were warm and welcoming and nothing compares to sitting in silent meditation in these places.
We later explored the wildlife and chased the night sky in eastern Ladakh on route to Hanle. Again the landscape changed to something completely different.
For me the trip was transformative - in ways that will continue to unfold over time. I wouldn't dream of visiting this region again without first consulting Rahul for his advice. Thank you again for an incredible experience!

之后，我们在前往汉勒的途中，探索了拉达克东部的野生动物，并追寻着璀璨的星空。沿途的景色再次变换，呈现出截然不同的风貌。
