点评：Very disappointed with our visit to Kenyon Hall Farm today.
We visited specifically for berry picking after being unable to book strawberry picking online as it had sold out. We checked beforehand and knew that berry picking did not require advance booking, as stated on both the website and the farm signage.
However, when we arrived, we were told that berry picking was unavailable until 1pm due to staff lunch breaks. This information was not communicated anywhere on the website or at the entrance. As a parent of a disabled child, we have to carefully plan our outings around medication, meals and routines, so this unexpected delay was extremely frustrating and inconvenient.
We adjusted our plans and returned at the time we were told. We had been informed that both tayberries and blackberries would be available for picking, but on our return we discovered that only blackberries were available. We had been particularly looking forward to picking tayberries, and after already having to wait and rearrange our day, it felt like a wasted trip.
The biggest issue was the lack of communication. If berry picking is unavailable during certain times, this should be clearly stated on the website and signage. Staff should also avoid confirming the availability of specific fruits unless they are certain.
Overall, the experience was disappointing and poorly organised, especially for families who need to plan ahead. We expected much better communication and left feeling let down.
