点评:We stayed at the Carriage House, which is marketed as Kohler’s spa-focused hotel and costs roughly $1,100 per night. My wife booked and paid for two spa treatments while I played a $550 round of golf at the resort. When I returned and tried to join her in the spa and pool area, they refused to let me in because I had not personally booked a treatment.
I asked twice and explained that we were Carriage House guests, my wife had purchased two treatments, and I had spent the day playing an expensive round of golf at their resort. They still refused. Apparently, on Saturdays, each guest must purchase a spa treatment individually before being allowed inside.
I understand having policies, but this felt rigid, greedy, and completely lacking in common sense. At these prices, guests staying directly above the spa should not feel nickel-and-dimed or be denied access while their spouse is using the facility.
We have stayed at many high-end properties and are usually very understanding, but this was one of the poorest examples of luxury hospitality we have experienced. A manager had every opportunity to make a reasonable decision and chose not to.
Beautiful property, but the guest experience did not come close to matching the price. We will not return.
