Food was the star of this show!
The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua Luau的点评
点评：This luau is ALL about the food and drink. It is over the top good. It is a buffet line that you go through but it is absolutely amazing. However, the show wasn't the best. We watched another luau from our balcony in Wailea which actually had a better fire dancing show and some other better "acts". This was explained as more like a "cirque du soleil" show, but although it tried - it didn't quite hit the mark. The aerialist wasn't amazing (she didn't have a lot of space to work with either). The MC was great and the dancers were good, but only a single fire dancer and he seemed like he was really trying to get us to cheer for him. It was also somewhat indoors. I think this is probably great if you have inclement weather, but I think going to one outside where maybe you had the sunset as part of the experience would have seemed more authentic. So, it's all about what you are looking for. If you want fantastic food, a "good" show and no worries about the weather - highly recommend. If you want an authentic feeling luau - this is not for you. OH - and get your photo taken - they are free and the photographer did a great job!
