The Moffat Distillery的点评

We recently visited TMD The Moffat Distillery for the distillery tour, having lived locally for some time and always meaning to come along — and we’re really glad we did.
We arrived a little early and spent some time in the bar and shop area, which is a lovely space. We enjoyed a cocktail while we waited and were made to feel very welcome straight away. The staff were friendly, relaxed, and happy to chat, which immediately set the tone for the visit.
The tour itself was excellent. Ben, our tour guide, was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and engaging — a real credit to the distillery and a great ambassador for what they’re building. It was fascinating to learn not just about the whisky-making process, but also about how much the distillery gives back to the local community and surrounding landscape.
We’ll definitely be back to visit the café again, and we’re very much looking forward to trying the whisky when it’s ready in 2027. A fantastic experience all round — highly recommended. 🥃
