Renaissance Island的点评
点评：Renaissance Island offers a nice beach day - but I am not sure it’s worth the spend. The island day pass is $125. It does not include any food or drinks. The food and beverage offered on the island is decent. Guests should note that the adult side is smaller than the family side and it has less covered seating. Where seating is not covered, you’ll be subjected to scorching sun and bird poop. Staff is not managing the cleanliness. Apparently, if you’re a hotel guest, you can bargain with staff to save you covered seating - which will leave less seating for day pass attendees. We arrived just before 11am and all covered seating was either occupied or reserved by the staff for guests who had requested it the day before (the staff told me this). Separately, you can reserve cabanas online.
You will find flamingos on both sides and you are free to travel between the two. We also so iguanas on the flamingo side. The family side had more available covered seating, a larger bar (restaurant) area, bathrooms, and there were honestly not that many children there.
Overall I’d say it is a nice beach day, the transportation back and forth is efficient, the staff who were serving food (Jennifer) were wonderful but those who were not - were not as helpful. Also note - the menu prices vs what they were charging varied by a few dollars more on several items so you’ll need to check your receipt.
